At Marshtown Kennels, preserve manager Bobby Burris will educate clients and their dogs with his 25+ years of hunting and training experience. Bobby's knowledge and skill will help train your dog to accompany you on your next successful bird hunt or field trial. Bobby will guide your hunt with his own highly trained dogs, but we also encourage bringing your hunting dogs.
Using an Upland Game Preserve dog and guide, guarantees that you will have shots at the number of birds purchased. Upland Game Preserve uses high quality gun dogs to maximize your bird harvest and make your day in the field more enjoyable. Our Setters and Pointers look forward to hunting with you. They are close working and eager to please. A pleasure to watch and hunt over, they add to the dog enthusiasts hunting experience.

If you are starting a young gun dog or fine tuning a novice dog, ask us about customizing your hunt to enhance your dog's training. There is no better hunting partner than a high performing field dog. Our new upland training center has plenty of capacity to board your dogs and we encourage you to bring them, either to hunt with, or to be trained. Gun dog training can also be arranged on a weekly or monthly basis. Dog boarding is available at $15.00 per day.
Here at Marshtown Kennels we raise quality pointing dogs bred for conformation, intelligence, temperament and hunting ability. Puppies or started field dogs are frequently available. Feel free to call 302-528-1977 for planned litters or started dogs.

Kennel and Training Grounds You don't get a finely trained dog without top quality facilities. We house our dogs in a new kennel which features indoor and outdoor runs in a temperature control environment. We maintain training fields in the spring and summer between NASTRA events.
